Maddie

Dear Maddie,
You, my enemy, are simply trash. I come in many styles, but none to fit you. I may form to every body, but I do not like to come in contact with yours. The way I am feeling is very open, I am so grateful when you take me off. You change my life for the worst, I would be so much better off without you. I know it is not too soon to say, I hate you. I have never loved you and will never love you.
Never and will never,

My Love

Dear sun,
Every morning when I wake up and see your shining face, it puts a smile on mine. I can not wait to get out of school to see you and bask in your glory. You make playing outside so enjoyable and puts everyone in a good mood. I would not be able to live without your bright attitude and warming sensation. Every time I am in a bad mood, I just think about you and know everything is going to be alright. Also, I know you will be back no matter what kind of day it is, and I will always be here for you too.
Love,
Taylor

Macbeth

I have liked the beginning of Macbeth. I do not think it is too gruesome, that is actually what has kept me interested and not so bored. The language that is used is hard to understand but I like how we are listening to the tape in class then going over it. Out of all the Shakespeare plays I have read, Macbeth is my favorite so far.

Thomas A Becket

Thomas A Becket was born around 1118 in London, England. He was the chancellor and Archbishop of Canterbury under King Henery II. Becket was a very daring man with a strong spirit that characterized him throughout his life. He engaged in conflict with Henry II of England over the rights and privileges of the Church. He was then assassinated by followers of the king in Canterbury Cathedral for trying this. The priest's considered him a murdered and was elevated to sainthood.

My Writing

English has never been my strongest subject. I was not a very good writer freshman year, I wrote how I would talk to someone face to face. I never did a pre-write unless it was a grade. I realize now that for writing to be good, my thought must be organized. Sophomore year, we did not do many papers but the papers that we did do, I improved since freshman year but I was still writing like I talk. The aspect of writing I struggle the most with though is the introduction and the conclusion paragraphs and the transition from paragraph to paragraph. It is difficult for me to get started on a paper and to wrap everything up. I have worked on it this year in Humor and Satire but I hope to be and feel more confident about the start and the finish to my papers at the end of this year. Also, I do not know how to transition into the next paragraph. I have not worked on it this year so far, but I am going to start now and hopefully improve before the school year ends.

My life

Hi! Welcome to my blog. My name is Taylor Elliott and I am a 16 year old junior at Anderson High school in Cincinnati, Ohio. I play select soccer and am going on the play in college. I have a 21 year old sister, a 19 year old brother, and my mom and dad. All of us are very close and always have fun together. I was born in Cali, Columbia then when I was two moved to the Dominican Republic. After living there for two years, my family and I moved to Thailand for four years, then moved to the United States when I was nine. We traveled around because my dad was president of Colgate Palmolive but he quit that job and started his own businesses to settle down and stay in one spot.
